Privacy policy

This policy explains what PrevPod collects, why, who processes it, and the choices you have. PrevPod is produced by White Coat Media, a company based in California.

What we collect. Your email address when you subscribe to the newsletter. Your name, email address, and whatever you type when you submit a form on this site (contact, guest and nomination, job listing). Basic, anonymous usage statistics such as pages visited and the site that referred you. Our analytics does not use cookies and does not identify you.

Why we collect it. To send you the newsletter you asked for. To answer your message. To review a listing or a guest suggestion. To understand which pages are read so we can improve the show.

Who processes it. Hosting and content delivery, the content system where form submissions are stored (Sanity), spam protection on forms (Cloudflare Turnstile), analytics (Plausible), and our email service provider for the newsletter, named here once selected. Each of these processes data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it. Subscriber details until you unsubscribe. Form submissions for as long as we need them to act on your request, then they are deleted.

Your rights. If you live in California you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, the right to have it deleted, the right to correct it, and the right not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. Anyone, anywhere, can ask us the same things.

How to ask. Email hello@prevpod.com with the request and the email address you used. We will confirm your identity by replying to that address and act within the time the law allows.

Children. This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes. If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
